Stonebwoy Arrives In Gambia Ahead Of “Scorpion Fest” Due Feb. 26

International reggae and dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy was greeted heroically and grandly as he arrived in Gambia ahead of his much-anticipated “Scorpion Festival” concert.

The BET award-winner arrived at Banjul International Airport in the afternoon of Wednesday (February 23) on a chartered flight along with his crew. Sporting a black hoodie, Stonebwoy (now in recent times as 1 GAD) rushed out of the airport, where a group of fans and a team of media men had gathered to welcome him, to a waiting car, which took him to his hotel.

Upon his arrival, some of his backstage crew, along with his security team, were already stationed at the hotel. Apart from local police, the singer’s personal security details were also been roped in to ensure Stonebwoy’s safety.

Though he’s reportedly embarking on some media engagements and touring some selected cities in Gambia, he is expected to host his first rehearsal session with his band in the late hours of Thursday and wrap up on Friday. The four-time minted AFRIMA Africa Reggae & Dancehall artiste will play as a headline act at this year’s edition of the “Scorpion Festival” scheduled for Independence Stadium on Saturday (February 26).
