Dammy Twitch, Elsa Majimbo And More Make ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Class Of 2022’ List

Forbes has announced its eighth annual “30 Under 30 Africa Class of 2022” list, featuring young entrepreneurs, creatives, leaders, and trailblazers across the African region, who are inspiring change and driving innovation in their respective fields amid the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now in its eighth edition, the list seeks to recognize young Africans who are “visionaries of change and catalysts for innovation”. It also seeks to celebrate the most resilient Africans, who have taken the time to not only shine a light on the issues afflicting Africa’s growth in a pandemic era but also work towards shifting the narrative.

The Forbes 30 Under 30 Africa Class of 2022 features 9 notable honorees selected for categories, including The Arts (Art & Style, Food & Drink); Entertainment & Sports; Finance & Venture Capital; Media, Marketing & Advertising; Retail & Ecommerce; Enterprise Technology; Industry, Manufacturing & Energy; Healthcare & Science; Social Impact; and Consumer Technology.

Among those featured on this year’s list are comedian, author and social media influencer, Elsa Majimbo; photographer & video editor/director, Apampa Owolabi aka Dammy Twitch; CEO of Timabee, Fatima Babakura; CEO & Founder of AOM Group, Dr Brett Lyndall Singh; CEO & Founder of Top Drawer Collection, Carla Frankel; stylist, Phupho Gumede K.; Founder of Mukuru Clean Stoves, Charlot Magayi; CEO of Salpha Energy, Sandra Chukwudozie; Medical Doctor & Health Advocate, Dr. Esperance Luvindao.
