Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, the member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region of Ghana and owner of NET 2 TV, OMAN FM donates 1500 bags of rice( 5kg) and 3600 bottles of oil( 1 litre ) to Muslim communities in Greater Accra Region and beyond to mark the end of 2022 Ramadan fasting and prayers (Ā EID UI-FITR).
On behalf of HON.KENNEDY AGYAPONG, to present the items, MR.KENNETH TAKYI AGYAPONG JUNIOR, the Director of NET 2 TV stated that, this is what God is looking from every Ghanaian to help one another irrespective of any religion. He said ,this project has started years ago to support Muslims communities in times like this in the Greater Accra region and beyond.
He added, the team will continue to increase and add to more communities across the country to also get benefit from such project in the years ahead.
He urged every Ghanaian to give a helping hand to the vulnerable people across the country in a wholeheartedly in order to support them in the mix of any difficulties they are going through.
SHEIKH JIBRIL MUSAH, IMAM- IRON CITY also on behalf of the entire Muslims expressed his profound gratitude to Hon.Kennedy Agyapong for the items handed over to Muslims in important times like this.
