Minority Leaders request that minimum wage increase be made to cover jobs in the public sector

Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu has encouraged parliament to guarantee that lone tasks with sufficient financing till consummation are given the greenlight to be executed in the country.

He said throughout the long term, Parliament has not focused on Article 35 condition seven of the Constitution which specifies that tasks can begin when there is accessibility of assets and that has brought about a few uncompleted activities specked the nation over.

The Minority Leader was talking in Ho at the launch of the post-spending workshop coordinated for Members of Parliament to examine the 2021 spending explanation.

Making reference to the Rwandan model, Mr Iddrisu said the country needs to embrace a strategy where all exceptional activities of past governments are proceeded by current organizations to speed up advancement.

Mr. Iddrisu called of the change of the lowest pay permitted by law to pad public area laborers of the new duties presented by government. The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin encouraged Members to utilize the workshop to consider on issues in a bi-sectarian way in light of a legitimate concern for the country.
