EC, Akufo-Addo Also File Closing Addresses In Election Petition Case

The Electoral Commission and President Akufo-Addo have joined John Mahama in recording shutting addresses in front of day of atonement in the political decision appeal.

(d) A request invalidating the Declaration of President-Elect Instrument, 2020 (C.1. 135) dated ninth December 2020, gave under the hand of Mrs. Jean Adukwei Mensa, Chairperson of first Respondent and the Returning Officer for the Presidential Elections held seventh December 2020 and gazetted on loth December, 2020;

(e) A request for order controlling the second Respondent from holding himself out as President-elect;

  1. f) A request for obligatory order guiding the first Respondent to continue to lead a second political decision with Petitioner and second Respondent as the competitors as needed under Articles 63(4) and (5) of the 1992 Constitution.
