Nigeria vs Ghana: Badu exposes Black Stars’ major strength

Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has exposed the Black Stars’ major strength ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday.

Ghana and Nigeria will clash at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, on Friday night.

The Super Eagles will then host the Black Stars in the return leg in Abuja, on Tuesday.

However, Badu, who was part of Ghana’s squad to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, said that the Black Stars’ major strength is their midfield, adding that the likes of Thomas Partey and Joseph Paintsil make them very strong.

In a chat with Ghanaian journalist, Yaw, at the Kumasi Airport and which was published on the latter’s Twitter handle on Friday, Badu said, ”It’s a big game. Our strength is in midfield. Partey is great, Kudus too and then Joseph Paintsil is fast. If Kofi Kyereh has a good day as well, we will win.“

Meanwhile, Partey has been in brilliant form of late for Arsenal, which has seen him pick up individual awards.

Kyereh, on the other hand, has been scoring goals for St. Pauli.
