Yesterday we brought you the news that Benjamin Hall, a foreign affairs correspondent at Fox News, had been hospitalised in Ukraine.
Fox News confirmed in a statement that the British father-of-three had been injured but did not comment on how seriously he was wounded.
Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Irina Venediktova, has now said on Facebook that a British journalist is in “intensive care under the supervision of doctors”.
She wrote: “This man was not at a military facility, where according to Russian officials, they are constantly targeting.
“Not being at a military facility, he suffered serious injuries.”
At the weekend, American journalist Brent Renaud died after reportedly being shot by Russian forces.
