The Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Elizabeth Agyemang popularly known as Peoples Mother , has advised Ghanaians to go unobtrusively to the polling centres on December 7 and cast their ballot without any inflammation of passion or inciting trouble, as the regional security will deal with anyone who attempts to cause mayhem at the elections day .
“let me appeal to the people of Ashanti that we should go to the polling stations, cast our votes and do not fuel any trouble, because if you do, the security will crush you”, Peoples Mother stated.
The Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Elizabeth Agyemang in a One-on-One interview on Ashh Fm’s National Agenda Thursday19th November, 2020 with Oderfour Qwasi Kay assured the general public that the regional security is on ‘red alert’ to protect the ballot, during and after the Election Day.
She appealed to electorate to leave the polling centres after voting in order to maintain peace and stability in the region.
Hon Elizabeth Agyemang warned that the regional Security Council which she is a member will not tolerate any form of intimidation and political thuggery against any person during the elections.
